About
& disclosure

One page, no fine print: who writes this site, how the facts are checked, and where the money comes from.

Who makes this

thingstodoseoul.com is part of the Uncompromised Travel network of city decision guides. It is written and maintained as a decision engine, not a blog: every page answers one question a traveler is actually asking — worth it or skip it, which tour, which area — and shows its working. Start from things to do, ranked or day trips, ranked.

How facts are checked

Prices are quoted in won first, with a dollar figure at a round ₩1,350 to the dollar, and re-checked against the operator, the official site or a current listing — the October 2026 pass re-verified every page that way. Anything we could not verify is softened or left out rather than guessed. Opening hours are not published: they change too often, and the Directions links on our attraction and neighborhood pages open Google Maps, which keeps them current. And this site publishes no star ratings or review counts — never invented, never borrowed — and no "9 out of 10 travelers" statistics. When something is not worth your time, the page says skip it and names the better move.

How the site makes money

Some outbound booking links are affiliate links: if you buy through one, the platform pays this site a commission and your price does not change. Affiliate links are marked with rel="sponsored" in the page code. The programs in use: Klook, GetYourGuide, Agoda (hotels), TripAdvisor, Airalo (eSIMs), GetTransfer (airport transfers), TourRadar (multi-day tours), Kiwi.com (flights), SafetyWing (travel insurance) and Radical Storage (luggage). No operator pays for placement or a verdict.

The site runs basic analytics (Google Analytics 4) to see which pages actually help and which links get used. No ads, no sponsored posts, no selling of reader data.
